The download numbers are in and the most pirated films of all time have been revealed and they will probably not surprise you.Torrentfreak released the download numbers to the most pirated films of all time and according to them, the number one illegally downloaded movie on BitTorrent is Avatar, which also doubles up as the highest grossing film of all time.
Avatar leads with 21 million downloads followed by The Dark Knight and Transformers in third.
Ironically, these films went on to do very well at the box office.
The only movie in this list that didn't do well on the box office was Kick-Ass, closing just shy of the 100 million dollar mark.
