News just in indicates that top US and
European Union diplomats were impressed by the
performance of Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta during the second stint of the
Presidential Debate held at Brookside International School on Monday evening.
Credible
sources from the diplomatic circles said they even came to an agreement that he
can make a great leader for Kenya if he is elected on March 4th
during the general election.
The sources said that the
envoys, who had converged at Stanley Hotel in Nairobi, were
impressed that Kenyatta, who is the Jubilee Coalition presidential flagbearer,
does not have any corruption scandal.
"You
know this kid can make a very good President than the rest," said one
envoy who was watching the debate.
The
envoy compared Uhuru to Italian former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi who was alleged to have a
criminal past when he was elected the Prime Minister in the 1990s’.
He
said Berlusconi took the country to greater heights despite European Union
opposing his candidature. Italy is one of the most developed countries in the
world thanks to Berlusconi’s leadership.
