Rose-Nasimiyu-Cancer-Survivor
When Rose Nasimiyu at the age of 9 years was on the spotlight for her cancerous situation we all were sympathetic about the little girls girls condition I remember that she even had to do a song that included her friends on board.
We all saw life in her we wanted to see her back to life, we wanted to see her get back to position.she had a brave fight she was ready fro the struggle with her positive attitude we all had our faces brighten up and found ourselves saying you will make it child.
The good news is that Nasimiyu is now healed even with alot pending from hospital bills hto recovering time for school the girl Nasimiyu as I call “Nas” is all smiles and ready to face each day at a time.
A lively Nasimiyu says that she is happy that cancer is gone and no more medication but more to that she is thankful to God.
Having been diagonised with  Hodgkin’s Lymphoma a cancer type which originates from white blood cells, nasimiyu is thankful to those who came through for her in her darkest hour.
Nasimiyus mum also admits that it wasnt  easyand as we all know a mother worry is when her child is unwell and the pain in a helpless child the thought of “what will I do” hurts the most bearing in mind that the child too is is pain .
Nasimiyu’s struggle against cancer has seen her give motivational speeches, compose songs of encouragement, and even win awards.Few months ago, Jubilee Insurance awarded Nasimiyu its Samaritan Award (JISA) for the 3rd quarter of 2011 for inspiring cancer patients and the general public.
At times in the darkest hour is where we get our lifetime lessons for Nasimiyu this is a testimony and a chance to live again all the best girl

Dennis Oliech and siblings sue MUM and KCB bank

The family of Dennis Oliech the Harambee stars captain and Auxerre player; is up in arms against their mother who is alleged of colluding with Kenya Commercial Bank and making secret plans to sell property worth Sh. 40 million all in the name of clearing a loan of Sh. 2 million she had taken in the year 2010.

Apparently Oliech had bought the building erected at Dagoretti corner for his siblings and his mother was just a trustee. Oliech’s siblings found out on the ongoing sale through the grapevine.

Oliech’s siblings Elsie and Kennedy are the beneficiaries of the premises which comprise of rental houses and business premises and have come to the country for the hearing of the case which was filed last week.

According to their lawyer Tom Wachakana the siblings are seeking for the court to stop KCB bank from advertising the building for sale or selling it through public auction.

The case has been certified as urgent and will be heard on October 17 when all parties are expected to present themselves in court.

You remember the woman BURIED ALIVE by her SON in Kirinyaga???

Postmortem investigations indicate that the 95 year old woman who was previously alleged to have been buried alive by her son died out of cardiac arrest and not murder. Police have now ruled out foul play after the report.

According to Kirinyaga police boss Apollo Wanyonyi, the elderly woman though when unburied had her legs broken and blood stains on the gummy bag that was used to bury her, she was not murdered but died before she was buried.

Residents in the area said that they suspected something was amiss when Esther Wanjiru’s (deceased) son gave controversial statements on the whereabouts of his mother.

They however ransacked the land owned by the elderly woman and found the shallow grave that was used to conceal her death covered in fresh grass. They reported the case to the local police station and the officers acquired a permit to unbury the elderly woman on Wednesday.

Wanjiru had been buried on Sunday night. Many residents are now up in arms refuting the postmortem report because they think that police are colluding with the family to conceal murder.

Wanyonyi however warned residents against taking the law into their own hands and attacking the assailants as it is evident that Wanjiru died out of cardiac arrest. He further added that the couple will be released beacuse there are no charges against them.

When asked about burying the woman secretly Wanyonyi said it always happens in Kenya many people die and family members bury them secretly without seeking burial permit which may be the only offense the couple did.
